Calling All Wannabe Photographers!

Do you own a camera? Do you want to learn how to use all those confusing buttons and settings? Do you want to take better photographs? Well today is your lucky day. I am offering a little photography class to my family and friends (and friends of friends) that live here in our fair city.


It will be a 3 part class and you can come to any or all of the classes:
All Classes are 7:00p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and cost $15 each
Tues. Jan 26 - Photography Basics (including tips on how to take better photos)
Tues. Feb 2 - Your Camera (personalized help with your very own camera)
Tues. Feb 9 - From Downloading to Printing (getting the best end-result)

All Classes will be held at my home.

My Favorite...

Midnight snack or even meal for that matter. Fruit Loops served in my favorite Anthropologie bowls. Cold cereal is simultaneously filling and thirst quenching. Perfection if you ask me.

Christmas Activity #2

On Christmas Eve we went sledding at a local park. The kids were so excited to go. Despite a few arguments over who got to use which sled, it was great fun. Especially the Lewis Family train. (Not pictured). Jake was the one who turfed it the most as evidenced by his snow covered body. We even got to go on a couple of runs with the Florences!

Christmas Activity #1

One of our family Christmas traditions is that we find a minute to drive down Christmas Street. I have been enjoying viewing the lights here for as long as I can remember and it rarely disappoints. This year we went just as it was getting dark so some houses didn't have their lights on yet but we still got a taste. Here are some pics I took through a windshield while driving. :) It was a nice Christmas Spirit jump start for me.

Today was Matt's birthday. Matt is the best Dad. Matt is a fabulous husband. Matt is always fun to be around. We are lucky to have Matt. Happy Birthday!

Payday

This is one of the times when having and raising four children within 2 years is worth it.


Matt and I were relaxing in front of the TV and the kids were silent for a long time (in our world that means 5 minutes). I peekd inside the boys' room and saw them all working together on something. I love that they love to do things together. All of them.

Pure Enjoyment

Lately I have been enjoying my friend Ryan's new blog. Check it out here. Ryan and his two brothers have a very humorous take on things. I guarantee you will laugh and who doesn't need more laughter in their life. I especially like Davis' latest post titled "Friday Fun Video Time". Why do I like their blog so much? It is an escape that has nothing to do with anything that I need to think about. (That is a good thing.)
